Specsavers in Formby has completed a major redevelopment which will provide new facilities, increased space and more efficient services to customers in the town.
Substantially reducing waiting times
With extra retail space, full air conditioning throughout the store and the installation of a second consulting room, the refurbishment will substantially reduce the waiting time for sight tests and hearing test appointments, enabling the team to respond efficiently to the increasing volume of customers.
A complete refit upstairs has provided a second testing room, and a dedicated contact lens area, doubling the store’s capacity to provide onsite hearing and sight tests as well as contact lens fittings.
A significant investment in Formby
With £54,000 invested into the store’s expansion, Specsavers at The Cloisters on Halsall Lane, can ensure customers continue to receive the first-class service the seven-strong team has become renowned for. Store manager, Mark Roberts, says that the significant investment represents Specsavers’ commitment to Formby, where the optician has been based for the past eight years. ‘This gives us the capacity to meet increasing demand for our services and products, cut waiting times for appointments and ensure that our customers receive the very best service possible. Plus, the new air conditioning is fantastic with the hot weather we’ve been enjoying!’
Mark concludes, ‘We thank our amazing customers for their continued loyalty over the past eight years, and look forward to sharing many more years with them in our much improved Formby store.’
