Cinderella will get to the Town Hall and the ball with a little help from Specsavers. And the Fairy Godmother (Roslyn Lundy) will have no trouble seeing Cinderella following her eye test in the Coleraine store!

Panto is back

After a gap of over 20 years, the newly formed Portrush Theatre Company is to bring panto back to Portrush Town Hall. Specsavers in Coleraine is supporting the new venture with sponsorship of the last performance on 16th January 2016.

Enjoyment for hundreds

Store director Judith Ball said, ‘For many, many years the pantomime in Portrush was a major event over Christmas and the New Year. Sadly this tradition faded away and it is thanks to the enthusiasm and commitment of local man Gerard McQuilken that the panto is back and back at the beautifully refurbished Town Hall. We are delighted to support this fabulous event which not only provides enjoyment to hundreds of local people but also includes a vast number of folk both on stage and behind the scenes.’

Tickets available

The five performances begin on 13th January 2016. There are only a few tickets left which are available to buy at Jingles Gift Shop in Main Street, Portrush.
