Staff at Hackney Specsavers donated 150 high-visibility vests to St John and James C of E primary school.
A national initiative in the community
The donation is part of an ongoing campaign by Specsavers stores nationwide to ensure everyone can not only see but be seen in all weathers and all lights, especially winter.
A word from the store
Specsavers Hackney store administrator, Diana Kotusiak, said: ‘Thanks to the staff and pupils at St John and St James School for a warm welcome to handover your new high-viz vests. We look forward to seeing the children out and about in them!’
A thank you from St John and St James Primary School
A spokesperson from the school said: ‘We would like to say a massive thank you to Specsavers at Mare Street Hackney who donated 150 high visibility vests for the children of SJSJ to use when they are out and about on trips and visits. These will ensure that our children can always be easily identified, particularly throughout the winter months.’
