Capital to Coast charity bike ride
Lateef Iqbal, store director at Specsavers in Camberley and also in Farnham completed this year’s Capital to Coast charity bike ride along with the Camberley store manager Darren Fagg.
60 mile pedal
The Capital to Coast bike ride is now in its 18th year and has established itself as the alternative London to Brighton bike ride.
The amateur cyclists took on the 60 mile pedal that began at the London Eye and ended at Kempston Park, Brighton, supporting charitable causes the Down’s Syndrome Association, Norwood, and Action Medical Research.
Money donated from eye tests
Lateef said: ‘The Capital to Coast ride was a great way to raise money for a number of fantastic charities. We donated money from every eye test and fundraised for a week, beign part of the £250,000 target'.
‘We would like to thank the local people of Camberley for their generosity and for supporting myself and Darren’s marathon cycle. Your donations will support and help people with learning disabilities live full and rewarding lives.’
