Specsavers Audiologists are set to step-up for this year’s Great British Dog Walk.
The fundraising event, organised by Specsavers charity partner Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, will see 20 countryside walks held nationwide between March and June 2017.
Specsavers staff will join the 4,000 people and 500 dogs expected to take part in the initiative, which aims to raise money to train specialist hearing dogs to work with deaf people and the hearing impaired.
Pick a route
There will be two different scenic routes to choose from at each venue, many of which will include National Trust properties, making the walk an ideal outing for dog-lovers, families and organised walking groups.
Each individual that attends will be gifted a limited-edition Great British Dog Walk doggie bandana and will be given the chance to be entered into a prize draw to win a luxury Forest Holidays getaway.
This May will mark the 11th anniversary of the partnership between Specsavers and Hearing Dogs for Deaf people.
