Specsavers Audiologists in Totton are celebrating after staff member Hannah Nicol passed her exams to become a fully-qualified hearcare assistant at the store.
Hannah joined Specsavers Hearcare in December 2016 to provide support to hearcare teams in the Southampton area, helping to revise policies and procedures while also carrying out general administration duties and providing cover on reception.
In June last year, she decided to take her career to the next level by starting Specsavers’ Hearcare Assistant’s course. After much hard work and study, she successfully passed her exams on 5 January this year.
Learning new skills
Hannah said: ‘It is a really interesting course. It was intense and required a lot of self-motivation to pass. I’m now enjoying putting my new skills into practice to help people in the Totton area’.
Hannah is now based at Specsavers Hearcare store in Totton and customers can find her either running clinics, at the reception desk or working in the office to ensure the business continues to run efficiently.
