Specsavers Seaford in Broad Street are saying a big congratulations to Amy Walden this month, after she received an award for her commitment to training and development.

Amy, who works as an optical assistant but has been developing her knowledge of the hearing side of the business, has been awarded Audiology Learner of the Year 2018 for the Specsavers South East division. She received her award in November from regional relationship manager James Crane.

Proud store director

Chris Titherington, store director in Seaford, said: ‘We are all really proud of Amy. She has worked really hard to develop her skills alongside her day job, and it has been of great benefit to our customers.

‘She thoroughly deserves this award. We all look forward to seeing how she continues to develop her career with us.’
