Specsavers is delighted to announce that it is now a channel sponsor of STV – Scotland’s favourite commercial broadcaster.
The opticians has unveiled two humorous sponsorship credits running on prime time STV.
The credits were filmed on the banks of Loch Lomond and are themed around Highland Games.
Real Highland Games competitors are featured instead of actors, including ones specialising in caber tossing, the tug of war, Highland dancing and piping.
Robin Mitchell, regional chairperson of Specsavers in Scotland, said: ‘All of our stores are very excited about the sponsorship of one of Scotland’s well-loved channels.
‘The credits are fantastic – giving the ‘should’ve gone to Specsavers’ theme a Highland twist!’

The credits can be viewed online alongside further information on the Highland Games stars featured and an exclusive voucher for £40 off a pair of designer specs from Specsavers’ extensive collections priced between £99 and £169.
