Special guests in the frame for 700th store opening
Specsavers Tunstall welcomed some very special guests to celebrate its official opening on Tuesday 23 and Saturday 27 June.
On Tuesday 23 June Dame Mary Perkins, founder of Specsavers, officially opened the new Specsavers store at Unit 2, Alexandra Park, Tunstall, marking the 700th Specsavers store in the UK.
Then on Saturday 27 June the Lord Mayor of Stoke-on-Trent, Jean Bowers visited the store to help celebrate the opening. A balloon modeller was also on hand to keep little ones entertained.
‘We’re delighted and honoured that both Dame Mary and the Lord Mayor joined us to help celebrate this milestone new store opening,’ said store director Andrew Butler.
‘It’s an exciting time for us and we look forward to offering our customers the very best in eyecare in this fantastic set up.’
