Specsavers Coatbridge is inviting all the family to a launch party this Saturday to unveil its brand new premises at 60 Main Street.
Author and founder of The Moira Anderson Foundation, Sandra Brown OBE, will join the team at Coatbridge to cut the ribbon and officially mark the opening of the new opticians and audiologists. Sandra attended school in Coatbridge and is well known locally for her charitable work.
Attendees will receive the VIP treatment as they walk the red carpet to the new store and enjoy a complimentary welcome soft drink and sweet treat from a vintage inspired candy cart.
The party will host lots of activities to keep everyone entertained, especially the little ones. These include a balloon modeller and face painter, and the Specsavers team will be out on the Main Street handing out goodie bags packed with Specsavers merchandise.
Visitors and passers-by will be in for a high energy musical treat with performances from Stephanie Duff Academy of Irish Dance and hip-hop troupe Dance Stars taking place outside the store throughout the afternoon.
Fantastic enhanced services
Specsavers Coatbridge combines the latest eyecare and retail technology to provide provisional and advanced services at its new location. The downstairs shop floor space has trebled making it more accessible to customers as well as allowing more styles from the various ranges and designer collections to be displayed. The relocation also marks the launch of a dedicated hearing centre at the Main Street store.
Alison Grieve, director of Specsavers in Coatbridge, said: ‘We are so proud of our brand new store and all the advancements we have made, particularly because we are now offering state-of-the-art hearing services.
‘We can’t wait to showcase all our enhanced services to the local community during our family fun launch party.’
Small donations will be gratefully received for the face painting and balloon models on the day to support The Moira Anderson Foundation.
Specsavers Coatbridge launch party will be held on Saturday 23 April from 11am-3.30pm at its new location of 60 Main Street. Entry is free and everyone is welcome.
