Specsavers Dartford has collected over 150 pairs of glasses for Vision Aid Overseas (VAO).

Unused glasses in Dartford

Specsavers, located at 54 High Street, has been asking people to donate their old and unused glasses to the charity, which provides eyecare services for people in Zambia.

Community generosity

Store director Kam Singh says: ‘We’re so grateful for the generosity of Dartford residents.

‘We’re keen to keep up this drive by encouraging more people to donate – we want to hit a target of 300 by the end of February. It’s important that we provide opportunities for those who don’t have access to good quality eyecare services.’
