'I am writing to say how impressed I am with the quality of the spectacles you recently supplied for my mum who suffers with crippling Osteoarthritis and mild Alzheimer’s. Mum hadn’t had her glasses a fortnight when she had a nasty fall in the garden of her home. 

She suffered a fractured cheekbone and a considerable amount of bruising and swelling around her face, but other than that she is fine. Fortunately, or unfortunately depending on how you look at it, her spectacles took the brunt of the fall. They were badly twisted and lost some of the lacquer coating. Also one of the lenses was badly scratched.

I am so impressed that the spectacles did not break completely, particularly the lenses. Had this happened, mum may have suffered even worse injuries due to her head taking the full impact of the fall. The strength of the actual glasses really surprised me and I just wanted to say a big ‘thank you’ to all of your team, particularly those behind the scenes who craft the lenses and frames, as well as the helpful staff in your branches.

My dad also attends the Weston-Super-Mare branch for both his eyes and hearing. She and I will certainly be returning to Specsavers for the foreseeable future, so impressed are we with both the products and the aftercare.
