Specsavers in Cleveleys, which is celebrating its seventh birthday in the town, has invested more than £250,000 into a major redevelopment and expansion which will double capacity and ensure customers receive an enhanced and more efficient service.
Reduced waiting times for customers
Creating an extra 600 sq ft of retail space, the refurbishment comes in response to the store’s year-on-year growth, and will substantially reduce customer waiting times for sight and hearing tests. A complete refit upstairs has provided an additional two consulting rooms, with a dedicated hearcare test room on the ground floor and contact lens department on the first floor. The refurbishment has also seen the store’s frontage rejuvenated to create a more enjoyable customer experience.
In addition to the quarter-million pound refurbishment, the store, on Victoria Road West, has appointed four new optical assistants in order to meet ever-increasing demand for its services.
Our commitment to Cleveleys
Store director, Craig McGill, says that the significant investment represents Specsavers’ commitment to Cleveleys, ‘The decision to invest in our Cleveleys store supports our plans for growth. The increased capacity afforded by the expansion, along with our newly appointed employees, will enable us to meet increasing demand for an efficient customer journey.
‘We thank our fantastic customers for their continued loyalty over the past seven years, and look forward to sharing many more in our much improved Cleveleys store.’
