Sidcup opticians collects charity specs
Specsavers Sidcup are calling for residents to donate any used or unwanted glasses as they continue their pledge to collect specs for the global sight charity Vision Aid Overseas this year and are calling for the support of the community.
A word from the store director
Ebahi Demi-Ejegi, store director at Specsavers in Sidcup, said: ‘We are committed to driving this important appeal to help people less fortunate than us. The proceeds from selling the reusable materials from your old glasses goes to towards establishing vision centres, training healthcare workers and utilising the expertise of volunteers to give people desperately-needed eye examinations and treatment overseas. Why not pop into store with your old or unwanted pair and show your support.’
