A Sidcup eyecare expert helped lead a fundraising initiative for Ebola suffers at London South Bank University.

Angela Pratt, of Specsavers in Sidcup, helped lead The Law School initiative in aid of Save the Children, after visiting Sierra Leone earlier in the year and witnessing the impact of the virus first-hand.

A word from Angela

Angela, who also attends London South Bank University, said: ‘I went to Sierra Leone to visit family and, after seeing the devastation caused by the disease, felt compelled to do something to help. I’d like to thank everyone who supported our efforts to make a difference to the lives of those in need.’

Angela’s colleagues from Specsavers also donated to the prize draw. Prize winner, Damian Moss, selected a pair of titanium frame specs when he visited the High Street store.
