CHILDREN from Hampton College Primary Phase will be safer on school trips and outings thanks to Specsavers in Serpentine Green.

120 high-visibility

Steve Emmingham, store director, visited the school to donate 120 high-visibility vests to pupils and teachers.

Help pupils stay safe

Steve says: ‘We’re all very aware of how busy the roads around town can get, so we thought the vests would be extremely useful to help pupils stay safe when they’re out and about on school outings, after school clubs or using the roads.

Hammerton Zoo

‘The staff at the school have informed us that the children used their new high-visibility recently on a school trip to Hammerton Zoo and were very thankful for the ease with which they were able to keep the children together. We are pleased that the vests are already proving their worth.’
