Children from St Mary’s Infants School in Prestbury will now be seen more clearly when they’re out and about thanks to a donation of hi-vis vests from Specsavers Cheltenham.

The store has donated 210 vests for pupils to wear, with their first outing coming just before Christmas when the children walked to the local church. The vests made a real difference and helped provide peace of mind for both parents and teachers.

A word from the store director

‘We’re delighted that the school is making use of the vests already and that they’ve been so well received,’ said store director, Melanie Brackstone. ‘Making sure pupils can be seen clearly is important all year round but especially during the winter months. We hope the vests will be useful for many more years to come.’
