Salisbury takes part in 5k bubble rush
Delighted to support a great cause was the Specsavers team at Salisbury who embarked on a Bubble Rush for charity this June.
Supporting Salisbury Hospice
To celebrate 30 years since the Salisbury Hospice opened its doors, the hospice decided to mark the anniversary with Salisbury’s first ever Bubble Rush. The event took place on Saturday 24th June at Hudson’s Field and certainly lived up to expectations of being a fantastic day out for the whole family.
The family friendly 5k fun-run was a very frothy and foamy affair! The Specsavers team donned their trainers and ran the circuit that took them through four bubble stations where high-powered foam cannons covered them top to toe in bright, frothy bubbles!
Store director, Anna Dailey who took part with colleagues and family members said: 'The great work that Salisbury Hospice does is close to all of our hearts here in the community and the bubble run was such a brilliant idea that we simply had to get involved in.
'Running through bubbles was a new experience, great fun and an honour to do to raise required funding to keep the Hospice running for another 30 years.'
