Salisbury goes neon for Guide Dogs
Specsavers in Salisbury has raised funds for Guide Dogs For The Blind by holding various activities in-store and having a visit from a furry friend.
The opticians hosted their own charity day with a visit from a guide dog, tombola and a bake sale. Staff stood out by dressing in neon and £1 was donated to the charity from every eye test done on the day.
Store director Sue Marchant said: ‘We raised a total of £150 from the fundraising day. We’re very grateful for the generosity from the Salisbury community towards such a fantastic charity. We hope we have encouraged people to continue to support Guide Dogs.’
