Specsavers in Salford has been shortlisted for two awards at the 2016 Opticians Awards.
The team has made it into the final round of the awards for Multiple Practice of the Year, while Aziz Mohammad has been nominated for Dispensing Optician of the Year.
An Opticians Award is one of the highest accolades optical opticians, practices and companies can ever achieve, and winners are chosen by an expert panel of judges.
The awards will be given to the nominees who can display evidence and customer feedback proving their commitment to eye care par excellence and how being part of a big chain can make a positive difference to the customers served.
Opthalmic director in Salford, Mahmoud Moustafa, says: ‘This is an incredibly exciting time for the staff in Salford Specsavers as being nominated for two Opticians Awards is testament to the hard work they put in, as well as the stellar customer care they deliver each day in store.
Aziz Mohammad, shortlisted for Dispensing Optician of the Year, is incredibly proud of this achievement: ‘It’s an honour to be nominated with the rest of my team for the Multiple Practice of the Year Award, as we’ve worked hard to make sure our customers are able to receive the very best in eye care.
‘Having worked with Salford Specsavers for 2 years, I’m especially proud to be on the shortlist for dispensing optician of the year, as I’ve learned so much in my time in Salford and hope to continue this development in years to come.’
The 2016 Opticians Awards will be held on Saturday 9th April in Birmingham.
