Rustington Specsavers keeping kids in sight
Children from Rustington Little Explorers Pre-School will be seen more on their outings thanks to the donation of 25 high-visibility vests to the kids by the Specsavers team.
Rishi Patel and David Durick, store directors in Rustington said: ‘With the high volumes of motorists on our roads today, high visibility vests are a great way to increase safety for the children in our community, and Rustington Specsavers are glad to do our little bit for the 'Little Explorers’.
‘All of our staff are local members of the community and we have always been keen to look out for the welfare of children in the community during our nine years in the town. We hope the children will be thrilled with their new vests and will hopefully get a lot of use out of them.’
Specsavers has campaigned throughout the past decade to highlight the link between vision and road safety. In addition to its work donating high-visibility vests to schools across the country, Specsavers has toured motor and country shows nationwide, screening drivers’ vision in its Drive Safe campaign trailer.
