Rushden Specsavers gets funny for money
Specsavers in Rushden hosted an array of activities throughout March in support of Comic Relief. As part of Specsavers fundraising efforts, customers were invited to make their faces funny for money and take part in a variety of competitions.
Andrew Darby, store director of Specsavers Rushden, said: ‘It was fantastic to see so many customers get involved in our Red Nose Day activities this year. The team really enjoyed donning fancy dress on the big day and we’re really happy to have supported the charity which does excellent work in communities across the country.’
The money raised through Red Nose Day helps poor and vulnerable people living incredibly tough lives both here in the UK and across Africa.
