Rugeley celebrates a decade of service
Rugeley residents were treated to a party on Saturday 3 December as Specsavers celebrated 10 years of business in the town centre.
Members of staff invited customers and passers-by to pop into store during the weekend for a slice of cake to mark the milestone occasion, with a face painter and balloon modeller for children, as well as goody bags and party food for all attendees.
‘Ten years is quite a milestone to reach, so we had to take the opportunity to mark the occasion with many of our loyal customers,’ said store director Minal Naik. ‘We’ve seen a lot of change over the years, including our store re-fit last year which has allowed us to continue to meet the increasing demands of our customers.’
Specsavers Rugeley first opened its doors in November 2006 with a team of six, including optical assistant Sue Reed. She says: ‘It’s been a pleasure to work at Specsavers Rugeley for the last decade. We have a brilliant team and still see customers who have been with us since the beginning, which reflects our dedication to customer service. Here’s to the next ten years!’
The team has since grown to ten members of staff, who have 45 years of service between them.
Minal added: ‘We had a fantastic weekend and were delighted to welcome customers of all ages into store for a delicious slice of cake. A big thank you to everyone who helped us to celebrate our birthday.’
