Tor Rugby Club’s Minis and Juniors teams are benefitting from sponsorship by Specsavers Street.
The store is supporting them for the 2018/2019 season, helping to provide new match day kit for the youngsters which also includes the Specsavers logo on the back.
A word from the store director
‘We already sponsor Tor Rugby Club’s First XV but thought it would be nice to also support some of the youth teams,’ said store director, Colin Shearer. ‘The kit looks really smart and we hope that it has and will continue to spur the players on when they take to the field.
‘Supporting our local community is very important to us, so we’re delighted to have established this link with the Club.’
‘As Chairman of Tor Rugby Club Minis and Juniors, I would like to offer our thanks to Specsavers Street for supporting our Under 7s to Under 12s through their kind sponsorship,’ said Andrew Pearce, Tor Rugby Club Minis and Juniors chairman. ‘Our aim for Tor is to make rugby accessible to all, and through sponsorship, we are able to manage our costs to do just that.
‘Our children have a real sense of pride and belonging when they put on their matchday shirts - the smile on their faces is priceless. We look forward to working with Specsavers, and our other local sponsors, in making 2018/19 a season to remember.’
