Fun fundraising for Comic Relief

Fun fundraising for Comic Relief at Specsavers in Romsey
Emma and Robert Robertson support Comic Relief

Specsavers in Romsey wants to say a massive thank you to all its customers and local residents who donated money for Comic Relief.

Comedy frames – SOLD OUT!

The store has been busy selling its Comic Relief frames throughout March. If you spotted someone donning a pair of red ‘waving hands’ spectacles, like youngsters Emma and William Robertson, pictured – or indeed, donned a pair yourself – your £2 per frame has made a big difference.

Specsavers in Romsey sold out of all its frames and proceeds raised now go into a large melting pot that will reach over £250,000 thanks to every Specsavers' store involvement across the country.

Baking for Comic Relief

As well as selling frames, the team put on their best red attire and rolled up their sleeves to bake for Comic Relief.

All colleagues would like to express its gratitude to all the customers who purchased their goodies on the day. Over £50 was collected and this separate donation is now on route to the Comic Relief organisers.
