At a time of year when people are making their New Year resolutions, a Romford opticians is advising locals to make eye health a priority in 2016.

Romford Specsavers, located at 90 South Street, is keen remind residents of the importance of regular eye examinations in maintaining eye health.

Store director at Specsavers Romford, Kevan Green said: ‘Eyesight should be tested at least once every two years to ensure they’re healthy, as well as making sure prescriptions are correct. Eye exams do more than just test your vision. By examining your retina an optometrist can detect eye diseases such as cataracts and glaucoma.’
