Waltham Cross eyecare experts are looking out for kids in the county by championing road safety.
The team from Specsavers in The Pavillions Shopping Centre have donated supplies of high visibility vests to Little Cherubs Kids Club to help promote safe road use and good visibility over the winter months.
Children visiting the store will also be gifted a high visibility vest as part of the initiative.
A word from the store director
Tony Martin, store director at Specsavers in Waltham Cross, said: ‘Now that the nights are drawing in, we want to make sure that our young people are travelling to and from school and after-school clubs in safety.
‘A simple high visibility vest increases the likelihood of them being spotted by motorists and cyclists in poor lighting conditions. The Little Cherubs are wonderful ambassadors of this campaign and are already sporting their vests with pride.’
‘Why not pop into store and get your little ones kitted out for winter.’
