The team at Hove invited the 3rd Patcham Brownie group into the store recently in support of Road Safety Week.

It’s vitally important children learn about Road Safety, especially at this time of year when the nights draw in so quickly. Dispensing opticians Sarah Edwards, Liz Blake, and trainee Mary Istifanous, gave the girls a talk about the importance of eye health and how regular eye tests can help ensure the safety of both motorists and pedestrians. The talk with the girls helped them on their way to achieving their coveted Road Safety Badge, and educated them about staying safe on the roads this winter.

A word from the director

Store director Charles Forshaw said ‘We were incredibly proud to welcome the local Brownie group into the store. The girls were great, and had a wonderful time with the team. We want to ensure both children and adults are aware of how important their eye health is’.
