Specsavers fundraising for Armed Forces Week

Richmond Specsavers is giving back to members of the Armed Forces next week.

From Monday 23rd to Sunday 29th June, the store, located on King Street, will be taking part in the Armed Forces Week by selling poppy seeds, cakes and donating £1 from every eye test.

Keen to continue supporting Armed Forces
The store is keen to continue supporting and suppling the squaddies from the local Catterick Garrison, three miles south of Richmond, by offering free eye check ups and discounted specs.

Ross Campbell, store director at Specsavers in Richmond, says: ‘Supporting the Armed Forces is extremely important to the staff here at Specsavers in Richmond. Offering the forces personnel, and veterans, free eye tests and discounted glasses is an important way for us to continue our support.

‘Regular eye tests are vital as part of our general health care, particularly in their line of work, and we are dedicated to helping in any way we can.’
