Richmond opticians raises more than £1,000 for Phoenix House

Specsavers staff in Richmond donate money to Phoenix House

Specsavers in Richmond have raised £1,055 for service people in recovery in the area. In December, staff donated £1 from every eye test carried out in the month to Phoenix House recovery centre, which is run by Help for Heroes and supported by the Royal British Legion.

Hamper up for grabs
During the fundraising initiative, customers were also invited to participate in a special prize draw to win a hamper of luxury food.

Ross Campbell, store director at Specsavers in Richmond, said: ‘We have long been supporters of the invaluable work of Phoenix House and we are delighted to have raised such a magnificent sum of money for the charity.’
