Dunstable is now home to a newly modernised Specsavers opticians.
On Saturday 19 September, Specsavers Dunstable, located at 17/19 Broadwalk South, held a fun day to celebrate its newly revamped store. Dunstable Mayor, Councillor Liz Jones and Joint Managing Director from Specsavers, Richard Hawkins, joined in the fun.
The latest technology available in the industry has been included in the revamp. The space has also been extended by 1,000sq ft to give customers a superior in-store experience. New facilities include eight eyesight-testing rooms and a hearing booth for hearing tests. Also available is brand new cutting-edge tablet technology, Digital Precision Eyecare, that takes a customer’s facial measurements when dispensing glasses to give a personal fit.
A ‘magic mirror’ camera is another new feature in the store that enables customers to try on multiple frame styles, ensuring they receive the best and most accurate service possible.
The Specsavers team at Dunstable have been serving the community for 25 years. They are delighted to extend their quality of service even further with their beautifully designed store that delivers industry leading vision and hearing care to the local area. Specsavers Dunstable’s store director said: "The team has worked really hard over the last few weeks to ensure that our newly revamped store will provide a leading service in both optical and hearing care for the area. We are delighted with the look of the new space, and thrilled to have the very latest technologies available. We cannot wait to show it off to all of our customers, and welcome new customers through our doors too at our launch party."
