Reading stories better in Great Yarmouth
Great Yarmouth Specsavers are supporting National Storytelling Week by ensuring that children can read with a clear vision.
Enjoying the Nation’s favourite stories
The nation will be celebrating books and the joy of reading between 30th January and 6th February. To support this, Specsavers Great Yarmouth are encouraging parents to make sure their children have regular eye examinations to ensure they can continue to enjoy their favourite storybooks.
Store director, Richard Pugh said: ‘National Storytelling Week is a great opportunity for children to put down their video games and pick up a book instead. We’d like to support this by making sure as many children as possible have clear vision.
Information about kid’s glasses and eye tests
At Specsavers all under-16s get a free NHS eye test. All glasses in Specsavers’ kids’ £64 and teens’ £85 ranges are free with under-16s’ NHS funding.
