Specsavers in Sleaford got into the festive spirit last month, raising money for charity over the Christmas period.
Staff from Specsavers located on Southgate donned their festive knits in exchange for a donation to Save the Children, raising £12.86. They also held a children’s day involving a full day clinic for children and giveaways of balloons, sweets and goody bags. Children were invited to enter the store’s Christmas competition on the day, to decorate a stocking for the store’s fireplace to win a stocking full of goodies.
Specsavers Sleaford store director, Bijal Ladva, says: ‘Nothing says Christmas more than a fun and festive jumper. We raised smiles from our customers and money for a fantastic charity at the same time.
‘The team worked hard to create a fun-filled Christmas period, and we hope that the children who attended the day enjoyed the activities on offer. With 2017 ahead of us, we’re hoping that many people will enter the New Year with clearer vision.’
