The team at Specsavers on Queen Street has collected Christmas gifts for children cared for at a local hospice.

Kind-hearted customer donations

Kind-hearted customers and members of staff donated 70 brand new toys to Tŷ Hafan, for children and young people up to the age of 18, as part of a Christmas toy drive.

Tŷ Hafan provides specialist care for life-limited children and young people across Wales, as well as support for their families and community outreach projects.

Donation support

Nicola Edwards, manager at Specsavers on Queen Street, said: ‘We’re thrilled to have received an abundance of toy donations to gift to the children that Tŷ Hafan looks after.

‘Whenever we can, we try to give something back to organisations that we’re supporting be it through fundraising activity or gift donations. We’d like to thank everyone who spent their time and money on choosing a present – a small gift can really go a long way in making little ones feel special.’
