Staff at Specsavers Dudley are championing road safety in the community by donating high visibility vests to local schools, to help ensure pupils are seen during the winter months.

The store has donated more than 200 high visibility vests to six primary schools; Roberts Primary School, Kates Hill Primary School, Blowers Green Primary School, Beechwood C of E Primary School, Priory Primary School, and Wrens Nest Primary School.

‘With reduced daylight hours, it’s more important than ever to do all that we can to help educate young people about road safety and to make them more visible, especially to drivers,’ said Specsavers Dudley store director Gurdeep Dosanjh. ‘Hopefully these high visibility vests will help children be seen as they walk to and from school, or when they are out and about.’
