Pudsey opticians join the fight against dementia

A dispensing assistant from Specsavers in Pudsey has recently taken part in a Memory Walk, raising over £200 for The Alzheimer’s Society.

Frances Stone from the Pudsey Specsavers team was among hundreds of people who came together in Roundhay Park on Saturday 6 September to raise awareness and much-needed funds for local people living with dementia.

Memory Walks across the UK
Memory Walks are a series of walking events that take place across England, Wales and Northern Ireland every autumn, raising money to provide support for people living with Alzheimer’s and fund research into a cure.
