Staff from Specsavers on Queen Street took part in a series of health days at Admiral’s offices in Cardiff, Swansea and Newport, promoting the importance of eye and ear health.

Access to services

Car insurance specialist, Admiral, has signed up to Specsavers’ corporate scheme, so that its 5,000 staff across south Wales have access to services provided by their local Specsavers store.

During the health days, hearing and vision screenings were on offer, Specsavers’ healthcare professionals also answered queries that Admiral employees had about eye health and an array of promotional gifts were given away, such as branded champagne, keyrings and pens.

‘Importance of eye and ear health’

‘It’s fantastic to be associated with such a significant employer in Wales like Admiral,’ said store director, Frank Moloney.

‘Our partnership sees Specsavers working with Admiral to help fulfil its health and safety requirements for staff, ensuring that all of its employees can have a free sight test should their sight be affected by their work on a computer.

‘We pride ourselves on our high professional standards and we’re looking forward to working with Admiral to promote the importance of eye and ear health to all of its staff in south Wales.’
