Everyone at Specsavers Brixton would like to wish all of our customers a Happy New Year and thank you for your support in 2016. Last year was a year of celebration and achievement for the Brixton store. Here we reflect on some of the highlights and look forward to another great year.


In the year Brixton celebrated its 21st anniversary, the store has undertaken a significant refurbishment, going live with new iharmony climate control technology and installing a fifth, extra testing room to accommodate the high volume of customers they’ve had through the doors this year. Brixton have also had their lab outsourced to International Glazing Service (IGS) who now provide all of their frames and lenses for customers.

Increased services

This year has also seen the Brixton store receiving approval for delivering private Minor Eye Conditions Service (MECS) as well as becoming a Hearcare store, adding to the number of services it can provide for customers.

Studious Staff

2016 also saw a number of members of staff passing professional qualifications. The main highlights include Clint Beya gaining his apprenticeship qualification in June and Marta Ferreira passing her certificate 3 course which included semester 1 and 2 together.
