Specsavers in Croydon are celebrating double platinum awards success in recognition of its dedication to employee wellbeing and career development.
After undertaking a rigorous inspection, the store has been awarded Platinum Employer status, while also becoming a holder of the Platinum Health and Safety Excellence accolade.
Bill Pennell, Specsavers Croydon store director, said, ‘As an employer, it’s vitally important to not only get the basics right – such as communication, resources and pay – but also to provide a safe and stable learning environment for our members of staff to enjoy a varied and enriching career.

The Platinum Employer initiative is an externally validated accreditation scheme which focuses on five key areas – talent management, recruitment and induction, performance management and reward, learning and development and employee communications and engagement.
