Pedalling for Comic Relief saw Specsavers store directors from Hammersmith, Bishopsgate and Shepherds Bush come together and get on their bikes to raise more than £60 for the charity.

Nine Hours of pedalling

The team donned their cycling shoes as they attempted to pedal for a continuous nine hours using two exercise bikes donated by Fitness First Hammersmith.

They were spurred on by customers, who also helped raise funds by purchasing delicious baked goods and a collective 336 Comic Relief glasses sold in the participating stores.

‘It was great to have the whole team involved and we’re so pleased to have raised some money for Comic Relief,’ said Nimesh Maisuria, store director at Specsavers Hammersmith.

Different stores involved

‘The charity bike ride was a fantastic way to get the different stores involved and come together to help raise money for such a great cause.’

Comic Relief is a charity based in the UK, with a vision of a just world, free from poverty.
