Specsavers in Ballymena welcomed some special four legged friends recently in-store at a great Guide Dogs Tea Party.

Customers in to the store at Fairhill Shopping Centre were able to meet Ushi the guide dog with his owner Torrie Tennant and hear all about the work of Guide Dogs NI. Specsavers staff also provided tea, coffee and buns at a pop-up tea party stall to encourage donations to the charity.

Raising funds

Ballymena Store Director Valerie Penny says, ‘We have always had a great relationship with the Guide Dogs charity and the tea party was a lovely way for our customers to engage with the volunteers, hear more about the essential support they provide, and to raise some much-needed funds at the same time.’
