Staff at Specsavers in Paisley were visited by a furry friend from the charity Hearing Dogs following the store’s recent fundraiser.
The event was held to mark the launch of a new hearing service in the sister store in Barrhead.
The store, located in The Paisley Centre, joined in on the celebrations by holding a tombola stall and also had Specsavers’ very own ear mascot pounding the streets of Paisley.
Visit from Freddie
The £50 raised during the fundraiser was donated to Hearing Dogs. Margaret, a representative from the charity, and hearing dog Freddie came into the store to collect the money and thank staff.
Gail Thompson, store director of Specsavers in Paisley said: ‘All our staff enjoyed our hearing event and promoting our first class hearing service.
‘Hearing Dogs provide invaluable support to those that have a hearing impairment so it was fantastic to be able to give a donation and meet one of the charity’s dogs.’
The Barrhead store’s hi-tech Specsavers Hearing Centre joins Paisley’s to become the second in the Renfrewshire area.
