Specsavers in Maidstone has helped raise over £350 at a charity catwalk.

Styling models with specs

The store styled models with specs for a fashion show, hosted by House of Fraser, to raise money for The Peggy Wood Foundation.

Attendees received free goody bags and there was also a raffle, where prizes included a £69 Specsavers voucher, a Fossil watch and a £100 Coast gift card.

Raising over £350 for charity

Specsavers store director Ruth Warren said: ‘We’re very happy to have helped raise a total of £373 for The Peggy Wood Foundation, which buys equipment and services for Maidstone Hospital and its patients.

‘We wanted our community to have a fun day, with the chance to see some high-end fashion and at the same time, help support this wonderful charity.’
