On Thursday 13 August, 11 staff from the Specsavers team completed the 3.5 mile Wrekin walk in Telford, Shropshire. They have raised £285 so far through sponsorship money alone.
This activity comes after the store have been busy fundraising to buy a playstation for children to use at Hope House. They have set a target of £350.
‘I’m so proud of the team who took part in the Wrekin walk to raise extra money for Hope House. The money will go a long way and we’re thrilled to be supporting them throughout the year,’ said Dawn Cheatham, store director. ‘We are still collecting donations, so if anyone has any loose change they could donate, please do pop into store.’
