Ballymena’s Specsavers store has teamed up with Radio Cracker for a fourth year to sponsor the charity’s annual Christmas shop. This is the eighteenth year that Radio Cracker has opened its Christmas shop in Ballymena town centre after raising more than £13,000 last year.

Hope Centre location

The store is located in the Hope Centre on Broughshane Street with festive themed gifts available to buy until Christmas Eve.

Radio Cracker entertains and raises money

Specsavers store director Adrian Murdoch said, ‘We are delighted to support Radio Cracker's Christmas shop once again. I would like to pay tribute to the core team of over 25 volunteers who work so hard not only making hand crafted gifts for sale but who also give of their time to staff the shop front the four weeks up to Christmas Eve. Radio Cracker has become an integral part of Ballymena's festive celebrations which both entertains the local community and raises an incredible amount of money for worthy causes around the world. We would encourage everyone to visit the shop, browse and buy!’

Shop opening hours

Radio Cracker will broadcast from 7.30am on 27th November on 107.6FM until December 24 to the greater Ballymena area. The Radio Cracker shop is open from 9am-5pm, Monday to Saturday, until Christmas Eve.
