The team at Specsavers Saltcoats is encouraging locals to ensure their health checks are up to date this Autumn.
Eyecare specialists hope that people will take care of their eyes and ensure their prescription hasn’t changed now that the darker nights have creeped in. This should help locals to stay safe especially while driving at night.
A word of advice from the store director
Alistair Ferdinand, store director at Specsavers Saltcoats, said: ‘It’s important to look after your eyes all year round and since the nights have got darker earlier, it’s the ideal time to check your prescription is up to date.
‘Eye tests can detect underlying health issues as well as changes in your vision and we encourage customers to have their eyes checked at least once every two years. Keeping up to date with health checks is so important, and eye tests are a vital part of this.’
