The Buxton store is supporting Road Safety Week by calling out to hundreds of local schools and groups such as Brownies, Guides and Scouts, inviting them to collect high-visibility vests.

Wintry weather

At this time of year with the dark mornings and nights, combined with increasingly wintry weather, it can be difficult for motorists to see pedestrians. Many children are walking home from school at dusk, which is a particularly hazardous time.

Specsavers is pledging its commitment to road safety by providing high-visibility vests, which will improve the safety of children when out and about by making it easier for motorists to spot them.

Get in touch

The store has high-visibility vests available to donate. Please get in touch if you or your group could make use of them.
