The high performing team at Specsavers on the High Street in Hucknall are celebrating after being chosen as finalists at the Specsavers Awards for Excellence 2016.
They have been selected from stores nationwide to be up for the Excellence in the Community award, Excellence in Contact Lenses award and the Excellence in Customer Service award .
‘We are delighted with our nominations,’ said store manager Janet Archer. ‘It shows that we are performing well across the business. Most importantly it reflects the aims at the heart of our store, of giving our customers the best possible experience and making a difference in our local community.’
The store have been engaged in several fundraising and community activities over the last two years, including getting involved in Zak’s sponsored swim, supporting the Hucknall Tourism and Regeneration Tour, mentoring students at Holgate Academy and talking to the WI, and collecting for the foodbank.

The awards, run by Specsavers, celebrate those stores across the UK and ROI that demonstrate a stand out performance in various areas of the business. The team at Hucknall will be attending the awards ceremony at Birmingham ICC on Saturday 26 November, where they will discover if they have been successful in winning an award.
