A word from the store director
Heena Thaker, store director at Specsavers in High Wycombe, said: ‘As healthcare professionals, we are ever alert to the signs and symptoms of cancer – something which touches the lives of so many people in our communities and beyond. We signed up to Race for Life as wanted show our backing for the tireless work Cancer Research UK does, and we’ve been overwhelmed at the support we’ve received from customers and colleagues.’
More than seven million women have taken part in Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life. In 2015, the charity is aiming to raise £50 million.
