Specsavers in Blaby is supporting a ground-breaking new social enterprise by providing high visibility vests and re-useable water bottles for its users.
Specsavers on Lutterworth Road is working with The Urban Equestrian Academy in the Highlands Centre, which aims to increase participation of those with the least experience in the equestrian world, as well as those individuals who have the least access to it.
‘The Urban Equestrian Academy offers a wonderful opportunity for people to experience the benefits - whether that’s therapeutic, social, physical or emotional - of being with and riding horses says,’ said Kavit Rajgor, Blaby Specsavers store director. ‘It particularly gives opportunities to those who may not usually have access to this type of recreation – including inner-city children, faith groups, specialist organisations and specific communities. All in all, it’s a fantastic enterprise, and we’re delighted to be supporting it.’
The store donated some 20 vests and 30 bottles for participants to use whilst enjoying the facilities.
